After starting off his career in radio, Adam D. Shandler has spent the last 15 years helping companies in the healthcare sector achieve their recruiting and training goals. While at Medco Health, Adam led a project management team charged with filling 100 customer-facing positions when the company spun off from Merck. He also developed the company’s campus recruiting programs, including Medco’s MBA Development Program. At Stryker, Adam developed a “hiring culture” at the company’s Spine division and launched the division’s first Training & Development program. Parlaying his wins in Talent Management, Adam then led Stryker’s East Region Talent Acquisition team, improving this COE’s engagement scores by a full two points and improving customer satisfaction scores over prior years.

Currently, Adam leads Talent Acquisition and Talent Development at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, North America. He is relentlessly focused on building a stronger digital employer brand for the company and is developing a leadership development program for high-potential managers.

Adam believes that better employer branding drives better talent acquisition, and retention happens through building community within departments.
